The guests were expected to be arriving soon.
Thomas had checked if everyone else had changed into their new clothes as well, even though a very small number of the numerous staff members were going to be seen during the ball.
The manor was unrecognizable- waltz was expected to be the main dance of the night and everything in the ball hall was prepared.
