Seven’s POV

Shantelle was nowhere to be found again. It was becoming a recurring pattern, like she was doing it purposely, either to spite me or stay away from me.

That was the only explanation I could give for now.

“Heard what happened to Reggie?”

It was the class bully. He was good at spreading rumors, but I was interested in this; there was a point of truth in every rumor. I knew this because I had already heard about the fact that Reggie was addicted. Maybe listening to what he had to say would give me insights on where Shantelle was.

“What happened to him?”

“He was admitted.”

“Where?”

“At Greys Memorial.”

I didn’t know this place, but I could find out where it was. Was this why Shantelle hadn’t been picking up my calls? She must have been busy with her family.
