Chapter 76
Shantelle’s POV
Seven draped his arm over the back of the couch as he casually faced me. The rest of the dinner had been easygoing. We joked around. He smirked. I laughed. And it felt like things were getting back to normal, which I appreciated greatly.
Now that we had retreated to the couch, I felt more relaxed and not so stiff. He seemed the same as well.
“What do you do for fun, Seven?” It just came out, but I was genuinely interested.
“Not much,” he answered. “I don’t have much fun during the school session. I’m either working out, playing games, eating, or sleeping.”
“Riveting,” I responded. “What about when it’s the off-session? What do you do for fun?” I asked.
This was me, genuinely interested in what he had to say.
I didn’t know anything about him, and that was how I wanted this to start. He needed to be relaxed, and I needed to get the fact that Reginald was in the hospital out of my mind.
