Theme: frittered effort

Rey's hand was filled with frost and blaze. Together, they transformed into a smouldering soul sword. He spiralled it, and he could feel the blade throbbing in his hand. 

However, there's something wrong with him. Instead of feeling alive, like he always does whenever he touches the soul nectar blade, Rey felt darkness spreading in his body.

His body was full of grief, while his blood was boiling with anger. Rey felt like going on a killing spree. He felt like they had cheated on him. Rey felt like destroying everything in his path.

Kira twirled her double blade, and they emitted dark smoke and flame. It's the power of the underworld. Her eyes turned dark and one could see that she was ready to fight until death.

The Great Python, feeling the immersive aura that was radiating around the room, shifted back. He wrapped his body around Joy and dragged her to a sch
