Theme: Grief

 

Slowly, what was left of the vandalised boat came to a halt at the seashore. The boat had been damaged beyond recognition. It took Rex all his might before rowing it to the coast.

 

Rey Reed Smith was the first to alight. His boot collided with the grass of the Lascaux cave, and a cold wind stung his face.

 

Under normal circumstances, Rey would have shivered. He would've drawn his cloak tighter to prevent the cold from touching his skin.
