Chapter 9
Taking a deep breath, he made his way past all the soldiers that were standing on the stairway that led to the king's chamber. He was clad in his royal armour. It’s a light gold stainless steel. It had the symbol of the upper isles on its chest; a red dragon that was emitting flames.
Looking closely, one would have known that the armor was specially made for him. The colour of the armor, the layout that was laced around it, and the way it suited his body. Two long blades were hung at his back, two knives around his waist, and another two short knives at his ankles.
He had a frosty, contrary look on his face. It was the eyes of a trained or professional soldier. He marched further into the king’s chamber, and two guards followed closely behind him. They were his special and most trusted men.
