A thousand years ago

She threw a thick, twilight flame from her hand at a wizard. She ducked low to avoid an orb that was thrown at her, drew a somatic spell in the air, and her enemy went up in flames.

"Behind you," Hodesh yelled at her. Instantly, Mrs Claire bent low, and a fireball whistled past her head. She vanished and appeared in front of the witch. In the same motion, she thrust her sceptre into the witch's heart while the latter went up in flames.

All over the place, dark flames went flying in the air. The mountains could feel the heat of the battle. It was a vicious one between witches and wizards. Dark diviner of the middle land against Lord Darius's sorcerers.

They rebelled against him. They were not ready to serve him. That's why he sent his sorcerers against them. Blood flowed on top of the mountain, and nature could feel the heat of the battle.
