Tomiwa shook her head "I think she just needed some air; she just swooned, I believe. You know how some females could be," she said while increasing the tempo of the hand fan and assuring Emma that she would be okay.
"No, she is not the type to swoon easily. Not all ladies are of delicate constitution, and not all of them do the swooning thing; you don't," Bernard countered.
Tomiwa shrugged, then looked sharply at her brother. "You seemed to know her well enough; I heard you call her Rissa, and I am sure I had never told you her first, even though I knew it. We had been addressing her by her surname. So you do know her, don't you?" Bernard did not reply. He just keeps looking at Marissa's face for any sign of consciousness. Tomiwa looked at him sideways as a mischievous smile crept on her face.
