Chapter 65. Her Space
"That would be me," Tomiwa said brightly. "It is one thing we have in common, isn't it? kiddo?" Emma nodded. She slid over to her brother and put her arm through his. "This one here was the one that dubbed me "cat". He claimed I was too curious about any little question or inquiry, and he had whipped out the title. It stuck one way or another. He is the main person who calls me that, though, and my mom when she wants to spite me." Tomiwa laughed.
"This one here got the title because of that as well; he is just so curious for his age." Marissa smiled fondly at Emma.
"And intelligent too; he is an amazing kid, Ms. You have done a very good job; I can't remember ever having met a more brilliant kid," Tomiwa praised her.
Marissa beamed as she bent down to kiss his head. "Thank you; he is the light of my life." She planted one on his head, then his cheek, and the other.
Emma squirmed, embarrassed.
