He moved back to look at the evenness of the coating in the nursery. He had handpicked everything they were to use for the nursery by himself, from the furniture to the curtain and everything in between. Marissa had gotten an inbuilt crib to be added to the room; everything else had been part of the contract after she had stated her preferences and picked the finished model that she wanted. Bernard had taken it upon himself to inspect everything their suppliers supplied to them personally, and he had ordered the painters to paint every other room in the building save this.
He wanted to leave his mark on the room and was amazed at how much he wanted to do things for his kid even before the baby was born. He had put in more work than anyone had expected, helping out with almost everything
