Chapter 15
[Flashback]
“I want hard liquor!” I commanded Jaxsen, who was frowning at me.
He sneered. “I don’t want to clean your shits.” He stared at me as he opened the beer-in-can he had bought.
While we were drinking on the balcony of his condo, we were just silent the whole time. We just looked at the stars and moon while feeling the breeze.
Again, I felt a spang in my heart when I remembered some memories of this scenery.
“Missing your mother?” Jaxsen asked in the middle of the silence.
I turned to him. How did he know? When he felt that I was staring at him, he also looked away. I was the first to look away.
“I miss them… so much,” I replied in a brittle voice while looking at the sky.
How are my two moms, God? I hope they’ll feel what I feel right now. I need to improve at making decisions.
