Then her gray eyes turned to me and observed me with great interest, beneath the shadow of her dark, jagged bangs. The yellowish halogen light did not illuminate her face well, but I did not distinguish any harmful reaction in her, nor did I smell anything strange, only her usual aroma of a restless female, as characteristic as it was unmistakable.
“No, my new project doesn’t include werewolves, but—”
“That?” I asked her, although far from making me nervous, her scrutiny attracted me.
She reached out her hand without saying anything and touched my hair gently. My heart skipped a beat. Johanna exhaled a small cloud of steam and I stared at her lips. I felt a small impulse to abandon myself to the caress and close my eyes, get closer and take refuge in her warmth and her presence.
I felt the pulse in my temples, pounding hard. Was it a good time?
