Chapter 117
“It’s already early morning. Perhaps we should go for a walk,” Audrey suggested after checking her wristwatch.
They’ve been inside all night because Sarah told them not to leave the tent until six o’clock in the morning.
During their time together, the group did not sleep or nap. Belle tried to break out on several occasions. Audrey was unaware, and Sam sat at the tent’s entrance to prevent anyone from leaving through the open door.
“Then get out of the way!” Belle said to Sam, and she’s been holding back not to hurt Sam. Her worry about Andres and Sarah had already consumed her.
“Do you think I want you here? If it weren’t for Andres and Sarah, I’d let you run loose and let the vampire consume your flesh!” As she opens the tent, Sam expresses herself.
Immediately after opening the tent door, the light from the outside poured in, bringing with it the chilly air carried by the morning dew.
