“Do you have any other suggestions?” Audrey asked, beginning to panic.

“The woods. That’s the only option,” Killian replied. Even he realized it wasn’t safe for humans or Belle.

“There is somewhere else we can go!”

Audrey and Killian looked at Belle, waiting for her to say where she had in mind.

“Follow me,” Belle said, walking toward the back of the abandoned building.

“The tunnel?” Audrey exclaimed as they stopped at the entrance, “But look at the gate? It’s rusty, and you can get out of here easily?” Audrey commented.

“We have no other option,” Killian said as he slammed the gate shut and entered the tunnel.

Because of the stagnant water in the canal in the middle of the tunnel, the underpass is dark and unusable.
