Chapter 47

Despite the fact that the road was dark, Belle bravely followed the tunnel.

“This is incredible,” she exclaims, astounded by her ability to see in the dark. Belle overheard voices as she continued.

“That’s Audrey’s voice!” She exclaimed, sprinting to where the outcry could be heard.

“No!” Audrey begged as she kicked Thomas repeatedly while crawling.

This is the point at which Belle arrived. She jumped up to kick Thomas’s hand, a syringe stuck between Audrey’s legs.

“Get away from my friend!” Belle said, kicking Thomas hard before rushing to help Audrey to her feet.

“Belle! Finally, you’ve arrived... I thought I was going to be a monster,” Audrey sobbed as she hugged her tightly.

“Sshh... Don’t worry, I’m not going to let that happen to you,” Belle assured. She wiped Audrey’s tears away before confronting Thomas Hill.

“Your grandson is currently in the hospital and is in critical condition,” Belle told Thomas, who was crawling away from
