Belle’s POV

I stumbled out of bed. I couldn’t sleep last night because of my ‘guest.’ My body’s reaction to him continues to confused me.

“Perhaps I should tell Zeke about this,” I think as I walk to the kitchen.

I catch up with my father over coffee while reading the newspaper, as is my custom.

“Dad, you seem to be having a good time?” I remarked as I went to get milk and cereal.

“Yeah, I didn’t realize Zoren drank so much,” Henry said, shaking his head.

“Dad, excessive drinking is bad for your health. Remember, you’re not getting any younger, so your health is important,” I recalled as I sat down next to him, wondering if I should tell my father what happened last night when the hybrid entered my room.
