Sophia’s POV

“We do not understand,” Lily said after a while. We were still trying hard to understand what the young woman meant by she was going to kill us before Zeroes does.

Who was this serious she was talking about?

“You don’t have to understand. You have less than 3 days to leave this place else I won’t have any other choice than to proceed with the order given,” She muttered softly.

Her words engraved deeply into our minds. No matter how serene she looked and timid, we knew at once that we were dealing with something horrible.

Subconsciously, I turned to where Elijah was and I saw how scared he was the more he stared at her.

I brushed off those thoughts as I know that I will get to know about that later.
