“Uh… do you mind if I ride with you to work today?” Lauren asked shyly. My heart literally thumped loudly in excitement.

My eyes immediately lit up and I grinned. And without any hesitation, I said “yes.”

I almost screamed a “yes” but I quickly composed my self, I was really happy that she asked.
