Chapter 72

On my way to the office, I met Chester on the way and he told me to accompany him to buy coffee for himself and Caden.

“You look tired. Did you not get enough sleep?” Chester observed as we both walked side by side.

I faked a small laugh and glancdd at him.

“You know my marriage with Caden is still in it’s early stage. We both could not get enough sleep last night. He could not get his hands off of me.” I lied smoothly.

Okay, I was becoming a good and smooth liar. I did not even stutter anymore when I lie. I lie very smoothly and with a straight face, I did not even bat an eyelash.

I lied to Chester because I did not want him to know that I was having problems with Caden in our marriage. Or he might as well too start to doubt the legitimacy of our marriage.

I know he is friends with Caden but he was not so close to me and I do not want us to be close either.

“Really?” He looked speechless and that was not the kind of re
