As soon as we got to the parking lots, she hurriedly got out from the car and walked away without even waiting for me.

I got to the office and she was not on her seat.

“Did you like the gift I sent for you and Lauren? I posted that contract marriage and divorce thing. Unexpected of me right? It was a surprise gift and I’m pretty sure that you are surprised right now.”

So Lauren was not lying? Lauren was telling the truth? I was such a fool for not believing her.

“You scared me! When did you get here and why did you not say anything?” I asked and took in a deep breath.

“You seemed so lost and engrossed on your phone. And I’ve been standing here for
