Chapter 39. Patching up with His Friends

Cameron opened the door, and his jaws dropped to the floor, seeing Ryan at his doorstep. “Ryan, what are you doing here?” asked Cameron, looking behind his shoulders. 

"I need to talk to you and Dylan," said Ryan. Cameron looked at him with apprehension. 

“I can’t give you any information about Vicky. Please leave. Dylan’s here and I don’t want any fights,” said Cameron. 

“I didn’t come here to ask about Victoria," said Ryan. "It seems Dylan is everything to you guys. You aren’t my friends at all,” said Ryan, taking offense. Cameron looked a little taken aback by his reply.

“You’re misunderstanding me, Ryan. It’s just that Dylan is right this time. You shouldn’t have played with Vicky’s feelings,” said Cameron. 

“I didn’t. I love her and I’m marrying her next month,” said Ryan. Cameron gaped at him, too dumbfounded to say a single word.
