Chapter 38. Re-Connecting

“How do you feel being engaged to me?” asked Ryan with a tender look in his eyes as he caressed her cheek with the back of his hand.

“Overwhelmed,” she whispered. “And you?”

 "More needy than ever before," he said with a chuckle. 

“What is it you need?” she asked with the same fire in her eyes as his.

“You, I want you, completely,” he whispered, his mouth grazing her earlobe and licking a trail along its path, making her shudder with want. 

“I’m already yours, Ryan,” said Victoria. 

“Show me you are,” he whispered, his eyes blazing with need. He pulled her flush against his body, molding her to himself. Victoria gasped at his hardness poking into her. He claimed her lips in a passionate tango, making both of them moan with need. He deepened the kiss, his tongue devouring her sweet mouth. With their mouths still fused together, he lay her down on his bed, pinning her with his muscular leg.
