Chapter 37. Heart-Touching Moments

They decorated the restaurant with chandeliers made up of tiny, flickering fairy lights fixed on the ceilings, one above the cake-cutting table, another above the family dining table, another over the dance floor, and so on. The large table looked extravagantly decorated with shiny silver candelabras at strategic spots to complement the venue’s existing style. Finished with elegant roses, softening gypsophila, and garlands of crystal beads, they enhanced the glittering effect of the chandeliers above. 

As Allison and Stuart entered the cocktail hour, everyone cheered and showered their best wishes upon them. "No alcohol for you," advised Stuart, and Allison nodded. They mixed with their guests, freely chatting with them. Allison ate a few healthy appetizers and soup which their ma recommended.
