Chapter 11. Entering the Palace

Ashley’s POV

Pierre halted the SUV outside the tall and massive gates of the Langstone Palace territory. But we waited inside our vehicle until one of the warrior guards came towards us to ask what our business with the wolves in the palace is. They have immediately concluded that we are humans, which they rarely get as visitors on a normal day and most especially unaccompanied by a wolf.

“Hey, what’s your purpose of coming here? Do you have an invitation from the Langstone family?”
