Chapter 33. A mother’s Cry for Help
Gerard’s POV
The Ceremony had gone on successfully, and I felt a bit of relief. Things didn’t go down as horribly as I imagined it would. I had the wedding hall cleared out with all the gifts and all the special packages that had been sent to congratulate me. I didn’t even care about them. All my attention was diverted to many other things. All through the nights I had my attention on one particular person only. My new wife and Luna of the Pack, Aurora.
She hadn’t said anything at all since we left the first hall to this one and even here she refused to hold my hand or look in my direction. I couldn’t even get upset since she had done what I’d asked of her. As soon as people started clearing the hall, I asked Theodora to take her away. The girl seemed more than eager to leave.
My duty had been done. I had successfully fulfilled one of the clauses
