Chapter 29. Consummation
Gael entered the castle and the wolf who had led Cybele there was at his side. He dismissed him and locked the door. He stared at Cybele, slumped on the sofa, dirty and drunk.
"What are you doing here, Gael?" She said in a slurred voice.
"You need a bath."
"You came all this way to give me a bath?" she asked and laughed debauchedly.
He approached and pulled her by the arm, forcing her to stand up.
"Come on."
Gael took her into the bathroom and turned on the shower. He pushed her under it. Cybele was still wearing her wedding dress and laughed.
"That's poetic, right? The groom should take off the bride's wedding dress. It's tradition!" She said and laughed.
Gael looked at the dress and then at her and left.
