Chapter 99. The Visit of an Enemy

Gael and Cybele decided to get up and the light came on by itself, as if it had guessed their intention. Gael picked up the mattress as if he were picking up a feather pillow and threw it out of the window. There was a moment of silence before everyone started shouting excitedly.

Cybele and Gael went under the shower together and after another hour, they joined in the werewolf celebration.

Gael was taken by the other Alphas so that he could take part in the traditional games prepared for that moment and Cybele was taken by the Lunas to the mirror of prohibitions. It was tradition for the Luna to look in that mirror before completing the bonding ritual.

Although Cybele was certain that she had never passed that way, the sight of her approaching the mirror brought her a fear that she considered irrational.
