“I’ll do it,” Alexa said with determination.

Isadora already knew what her answer would be. She was afraid that she might not get to see Alexa again, but there was nothing she could do to convince her not to go through with it. She would be selfish to put her feelings above the situation they were in. So she smiled and took Alexa’s hand in hers.

“I know it is risky, but I am willing to give it a try. I will do anything to make sure we find them. No matter what.”

It scared Isadora to hear her say that, but it was not a surprise. She has seen how much she cares for Mercedes, so it would only make sense that she wants to save her.
