Amaya. I thought I would never hear you talk of that name,” said an unfamiliar voice to Mercedes. Alexa turned to see Isadora. The head of the Academy and her nemesis.

“Did your elders ever teach you that eavesdropping is impolite?” Alexa asked snidely, glaring at Isadora, who was just smirking.

“Forgive my impoliteness, dear Alexa. It was not at all my intention.”

“Alright. Don't mind me and my friend here. Move along.”

Mercedes just stood there not understanding the hostility between them. Alexa turned to her and grabbed her hand, attempting to get away from Isadora before her mood got spoiled.

“Stop being childish Alexa. It's beneath you. For how long are you going to keep up this attitude of yours towards me? We are not young anymore. Besides, you come and go from here so we'll have to see each other like it or not.”
