Two days after the celebrations, Alexa decided it was time she got to the purpose of her visit. She called Felix and the Beta couple into the living room for a meeting.
“So, what's this about exactly? Shouldn't you be going back to Vaughnorths?” Felix asked.
“No. I will not be going back for a while. The reason is why I am here?”
“What?! What about Mercedes? How will she be able to stay there without you? What about her training? Is everything okay?”
“Calm down, Felix. Mercedes is a big girl. I'm sure she can handle herself for the time being. I have taught what I needed to, and she can continue by herself while I am gone. She is alright. Nothing will happen to her over there.”
