Chapter 13. Golden Sand
ALICIA CHAY
After a pounding screech that made my ears bleed, she unleashed fiery chains that dispersed from her luxurious nappy hair. They burned into every limb of my body with brimstone and sulfur embedded in metal hooks.
Rapturous scorpions, leeches, and tarantulas dropped all over me from the baccarat crystal chandeliers shaped like immaculate beehives hovering from above.
As they pierced my skin, I released a battle cry of rippling holograms that repelled her attacks. It knocked Armona, The Queen, to her knees in both shock and anger. Unperturbed, she clapped her eyes. Brusquely, she rushed up to me faster than the speed of sound, and I spiraled into pulsating dust. I entered her body through her nostrils as she inhaled. I wrapped my spiritual hands around the pulse of her soul. "Why am I here, Armona?" I meant business. Coughing and gagging, Armona grabbed her throat with wide eyes as she slowly rose into midair, kicking her legs wildly.
