Ash tried hard to catch up, to no avail. He realized just then that Myan wasn’t the only one being carried away by the wind. The fact that he was still secured to the ground on his feet was because of his powers and identity as the lord.

Ash did not let his eyes off Myan, trailing with her as the heavy wind ripped her expensive gown in half. Screaming sounds from multiple people that had been lifted off their feet blocked his ears, but he deepened his frown and shifted to his Aeu. That increased his running pace, and he jumped high enough to aim for her and catch her in his arms.

Myan was still shrieking even though she had been caught. She was in so much shock to even realize that she had been saved.
