Chapter 39. Rough

Zeus POV

Zeke and Zane left early this morning to grab breakfast. Elara is still sleeping off her eventful night. She looked so peaceful they didn’t want to wake her.

I am relishing in the time that I have alone with her. She feels so perfect wrapped in my arms. I don’t think I slept at all last night. I laid awake and watched her sleep.

A tiny yawn escapes her lips, and her golden eyes flutter open. When she sees me watching her, a rose colored blush covers her cheeks.

“Good morning,” I whisper. “How are you feeling?”
