Namesake

It’s day nine or ten or maybe eight. She had lost count. She had lost count of the night Dominic tried to mate with her or whatever he had in mind. She wasn’t sure, but it didn’t seem like he was up to any good. He was never up to good.

She rolled over to the other side of the bed. It was also the last time she saw Aaron—the night they mended the bond Dominic tried to demolish. She knew he had come out looking for her several times, but she never showed up.

She heaved a sigh of grief, unsure of what exactly she was upset about. The only thing she knew was there were so many things to be angry about. Dominic…her father…
