The Chosen Mate

Alice fiddled with her fingers, avoiding the shocking stare Miley was throwing at her. She groaned softly and rolled her eyes. 

“Say something, Miley,” she urged her. 

Miley still had her mouth wide open since Alice told her the news. She nodded her head in disbelief and exhaled. 

“So, let me get this straight. You made out…” 

Alice nodded, biting down her lip as she recalled the intense make-out session they had two nights ago. 

“He proposed.” 

She nodded again.

“I said yes.”
