We wanted to do something for her. Blue suggested we take her out to dinner, but I was against it. Even though we'd gotten used to leaving the house, mixing with humans was a no-no for us. Though we didn't rely solely on blood like the pure vampires, walking among mortals was a lot more difficult. It felt like dangling a slice of meat in front of a dog. Which was why I refused that. We'd had enough of humans for an entire week.
The dinner outside was a suggestion from me. Blue went all out into making certain it was perfect. I had never seen him serious with something before. It was hilarious, but I kept it all to myself, knowing he would be embarrassed should I tell him about it.
“Thanks for dinner.” Bella smiled, tucking her hair behind her ear, blushing.
