“Who?” I glared at him, wondering what he was talking about. He sounded like he was speaking to himself and not to me. Which was why I asked him that, to be certain he wasn't speaking to me.

“Your lovers,” he replied, smirking.  “They are here for you.”

“Blue and Fred?” I frowned at that.  “Impossible,” I whispered when he nodded. “You must be mistaken. They are not here to save me.”
