BELLA

I didn't get a reply until I called out for the third time. I heard a groan before the door opened. 

"Impossible," I whispered when the person on the side stepped in. I gaped at him, trying to tell myself I made it all up. “No, it can't be possible.” I shook my head, wondering if my brain conjured him. “You are…”

“Still alive?” He helped me complete my statement, grinning. “Are you that shocked to see me alive and well? You don't have to be, though.” He strode towards me, smirking. “We meet again, Bella?”

“I was right,” I whispered, staring at him. “I knew I had met you before. Even though you covered your face, I knew you weren't a stranger. Your eyes are different." 

He chuckled at that. “Thanks a lot for the compliment, Bella. I appreciate.”

Just like the first time I saw him, weeks ago, I was enamoured by his tone and eyes. Everything about him screamed gorgeous, similar to the werewolves I had seen so far.
