“Can’t we talk?” she raised her brow at me. I was dumbfounded for a while, recovering from the unexpected shock. I glaze my eyes at the standing nervous Mercy at the door.

Lila followed the direction of my gaze and it settled on Mercy, I noticed how distaste flashes through her eyes. “Don’t you know what to do next…? Kiss the door and get your ass out of here.”

“Lila!” I called, and besides she sounded harsh. Mercy has done nothing wrong to her, I think that if she is here to apologize she should be on her best behavior.
