Chapter 22. You Are Mine

Rhea’s POV

Walking through the hallway, almost close to my room I felt a presence behind me but before I could react he had me flattened at the wall. My body shuddered under his domineering aura.

From the tension stretching in the atmosphere, I didn’t have to be told twice who the intruder was, “King Daemon,” I stuttered.

“Daemon,” I stuttered.

I felt his hot breath fan me, my breathing became hitched and my legs became too weak to stand. I could feel it, the burning attraction between us was too strong to ignore. Couldn’t he feel it as well?

My question was soon answered by his next words, “Why didn’t you wait for your mate, why did you allow him to mark you?” There was a sharp stab in my chest, my eyes were wide, full of questions and confusion.
