Chapter 30. The Rumor

Rhea’s POV

I curled up on the floor, staring at the empty space. The tears on my face have long dried off, why do I always have to go through me? Being locked up in a dungeon by my mate is devastating.

But one thing that I have agreed on after spending a night here is never to allow Kian or any of them to see my tears. I think that I don’t need to allow them to see me hurt, I noticed that my tears give them satisfaction.

Still going through my thoughts I felt a squeak crack from the door, allowing a ray of sunlight into the room, accompanied by a familiar face which I recognized to be Mercy.

“Mercy,” I called tiredly, she gave me a small pitiful smile.

“What are you doing here?” I asked, confused because since Kian left yesterday no one has stepped in here.

I was abandoned at the harsh walls of this dungeon, under the terrifying cold.

“The Alpha instructed me to take you to your chamber.”

Finally… I mumbled, I glanced around the
