Chapter 36. Let’s Get Over It

Daemon’s POV

My eyes turned hazy, I was been mind-linked by my beta, Sam. I sat on the stool beside my bed with a glass of wine swirling around my hand.

My head hurts, I still can’t get her image off my mind. Is hard to resist my beast from claiming her right away.

“What?!” I grunted in my usual deep and cold voice, unable to hide my frustration and rage at bay. Does he always have to disturb me?

“Where are you? I have been searching everywhere for you and I noticed that you weren’t at your office, strange,” he spoke with a quick breath.

I furrowed my eyebrow, confused, “Why?”

“I thought that you were supposed to be at Luna’s coronation with the other pack Alphas… What’s the name again?” I sighed at the last statement.

“Mtcheww,” he hissed, taking me by surprise, “Please where are you?” He replied in haste, and before I knew it. My room door was pulled open, revealing Sam.

“Hmm,” he smiled, a victorious smirk playing on his lips
