Chapter 34. What Just Happened?

Rhea’s POV

The atmosphere suddenly becomes uncomfortable, and the slamming of the door against its hinges pulls back my mind to reality.

I am trapped alone here with this Greek god in front of me, I fell into his eyes. They were fine hazel-black pairs, there was something in those gazes more like a magnet.

Snapping my gaze off him, I cleared my throat, “Am sorry, my king but you just sent my beta out from your office,” I said, fighting hard not to stare into those eyes of his.

Giving me a long stare, he let out a huff, “That’s not your beta or did you suddenly turn your personal servant into your beta under a night?”

I held onto his stare briefly, I don’t know why I still find this man here attractive when I already have a mate and husband in my life. Strangely, it feels so nice sitting in front of him, my body craves for him.
