Chapter 59. But Why?

Rhea’s POV

I don’t know but today I decided to come out of my room after I heard that Kian wasn’t in the pack.

I have been locked up here for some days and already feel like I’m going to suffocate to death, trapped alone here doing nothing always pulls me into a deep depression. I need to have my mind focused maybe on something so that I can keep going.

As for me now, I don’t think that I need to dress to impress again, I slide into my comfy clothes; a pair of black jeans and a hoodie to hide the fingerprints and bruises around my neck and skin. Using makeup, I hide the dark circles under my eyes. I sat on top of my bed with my feet placed on the small center table in my room when suddenly a knock came in.

“Come in.”

Mercy walked in with a glass of coffee in her hand, “Good day, my Luna,” she greeted, I returned her greeting with a nod.

Taking the glass from her, I sipped the coffee, “Hmmm… This feels good,” I mumbled with a lingering smile
