Daemon’s POV
“Cool, man,” he replied, giving me a smile that hardly reached his eyes. He seemed like someone in deep thought, and I knew so well that something was bothering him.
He did not hear about the fallout between Rhea and his mate, so I do not think that it was what was bothering him. After all, he does not know about his mate’s past. Wilfred is a good soul, and having someone like Lila as a mate is messed up, but at the same time, I can’t possibly tell him to reject his mate. Something that I should not even bring myself to do.
Brushing it off, I decided to draft my mind off that. When he is calm, I am sure that he is going to spill it all out.
“Why are you two here?” I snarled at Sam, who sat there looking unbothered.
“Did I interrupt something out there?”
“SAM!”
“Fine,” he growled, his expression hardened, “I saw your visitor,” he blurted.
“Who let him in?” That was the next question that slid out of my lips
