Chapter 25. The Party (2)

Alexa was not the only person who saw Prince Hector looking at Alexa as though mesmerized. Camellia saw the look too and this enraged her further. ‘Why could the goons not perform a simple task properly?’ she thought. She had not gone through the lengths she had gone through only to have Alexa ruin all her plans for her. But first things first. She had to see how today’s events ended. Then she would deal with Alexa.

Camellia saw the mesmerized look Hector was giving someone and followed his gaze. When she saw who Hector was staring at as though struck, she knew that Alexa was no ordinary woman and made a note to beware of her and thought, ‘How many women will I have to contend with for Hector’s affection?’

Wayne saw it and his body tensed. Why was that man staring at Alexa so intimate and why was Alexa looking so flushed and stealing glances at him? What was going on? Did Alexa know this handsome man? Wayne admitted grudgingly to himself that the Prince was indeed handso
