Chapter 54. Abducted

Soon the cab stopped her in front of her new home and drove off. She was about to climb the doorstep leading to the staircase of the building when she felt a presence behind her. Before she could turn around, a hand holding a handkerchief closed round her nose and she fell against her assailant, unconscious and was dragged instantly into a car.

When she came to, she found she was strapped to a chair. She screamed and some men, about three looking men came out from the corners of the building where she was.

“You have awoken,” one said. He looked like he was the leader of the men. “I was wondering if we were going to have to pour a bucket of water on you to wake you up, Beauty.” He leered, touching her cheek.
