The Jet lands and I see my parents waiting through the hatch.

Cissy is beside herself with excitement, I have never seen a woman so elated at the prospect of meeting her mother-in-law. Obviously, this has nothing to do with me, but I don't care as long as she's happy.

When the engines have come to a complete stop, Walter opens the door.

Some Royal Warriors move a staircase in front of the door for us to get out. I take Cissy's hand again, she clutches her purse tightly. Proudly, I stand with her on the small platform of the stairs and look straight at my parents. A few distant family members have also come, the news that Herod and I have brought our mates has spread like wildfire throughout the Kingdom.

So it comes as no surprise that the journalists from the Werewolf Media Network are already here. I chuckle at the thought of how strange it will seem when the same missing women appear next to Herod and me as our mates.
