Chapter 127. No More Pining for That Man

Caliana’s POV

I got out of the car to face my mate, his three brothers were slightly standing behind him, letting all the glory shine on him. Alpha Edward looked angry at me. I didn’t say a word until he did.

”Why did you leave the pack?”

”I had matters to attend to outside the pack,” I spat, I close my eyes momentarily, I sound so bitter.

”You should have told someone!” He hissed.

”Who?”

”Okay, okay enough,” Jamal approached me, kissing my cheek in a greeting.

”Caliana, we have enemies that are lurking around, wanting to break us and you just can’t leave the pack,”

”I was still in the territory,” I answered calmly.

”Why did you need to talk to those strays?”

”I saw them last time at the hospital and I really felt bad so I brought them supplies,” I informed them. Jamal looks surprised, sharing a look with his brothers before looking at Mr. Tim’s white van.

”That’s... Noble,” He smiled.
