Chapter 6

Sly goes to have a drink at Linda's Truce and gets into a conversation with Pamela about Genie's work at Noah's house. They're standing outside discussing, not knowing that Kelly is eavesdropping at a corner.

“Hope Genie will be well taken care of in the West, please I don't want anything bad to happen to her, if not Miss Linda will kill” Pamela utters, “There's nothing to worry about Pam, calm down, Genie will be fine, Noah hired her for a job, and if she doesn't do the job, she doesn't get paid, and you don't get paid”. Sly responds.

Kelly sees this as an opportunity to finally bring about Genie's downfall. She immediately runs to Miss Linda's office, to inform her of what she has heard. Minutes later, Miss Linda summons Pamela to her office.

“Hi Miss Linda, you sent for me,” Pamela mutters “Yes I did”, Linda responds giving her a stern look. “Have you ever lived in the streets? Have you tasted what it means
